One of my recent online purchases came bundled with a bunch of non-racing diecast cars that I had no interest in keeping. I took those with a couple of other non-racing collectibles to my local antique shop to see if they were interested in them. Long story short, we did an even-up trade for the below two 1/24 Action Monte Carlos. Normally I wouldn't have had been interested in these two, but I basically got them for free.

I'm wondering now if the Jeff Gordon car is an error by Action. There are no headlights, grill or taillights on this one. Sponsors are missing from the B-pillar and C-pillar of the roof. Also there are no black highlights on the windows. All of the similar cars I see online have these features on them. Anyone have details as to what I have here?
