I saw these at Target last week. All of them are pretty stupid looking. Remind me of whatever those things action came out with a year or so ago.

God those are ugly as sin. The Muscle Machines we're far better because they were obvious what car it was. The Mustang is a box, the Ford GTs do not look like GTs. I do have a Johnson 1/18th Muscle Machines 69 Chevelle because I just love 69 Chevelles and Johnson if my favorite driver and it doesn't look all that bad. These on the other hand...Even if I got this for free I wouldn't take it!

agreed..... it would have to be either a Stewart or a Johnson for me to worry about these.

Just out of curosity.. how many of you would buy one if they made your favorite driver?
like i said earlier if there was a Tony Stewart, Jimmie Johnson or maybe a Harvick i would, but with that mix of drivers im not worried about getting them. if this was a couple of years ago i would have bought all of them, but as i have started running out of room to display, i just buy my favorite drivers now.

In all honesty if they made a Johnson one I would probably pass on it. Unless it looked like a "real" car like the muscle machines did. Those "customs" but the cars were made down to the detail. Not one of these cars looks like a Ford Mustang or FordGT. Compare the picture on the package to the car and there is a big difference.

They DID make my favorite driver and I won't touch them with a ten foot clown pole! (That's Carl Edwards, in case you didn't know...tied with Dale Jr as my favorite active drivers)

Are Cool Customs / Stock Rods Back?

Found the following from 1BaddRide @ http://www.joesdiecastshack.com/

“Has 1 Badd Ride gone Nascar with a Series 1 ?? Yes......

Hi everyone,

Yes we are launching a new line of NASCAR 1 BADD RIDE diecast in 1:24 and 1:64 scale. You can find them currently in Target and soon to be in more retailers. The first series of 1:64 includes six drivers # 01 Mark Martin Army Vette, # 17 Matt Kenseth DeWALT Mustang, # 99 office Depot Carl Edwards Ford GT, # 26 Jamie Mcmurray IRWIN Ford GT, # 6 David Ragan AAA Mustang, # 16 Greg Biffle Ameriquest 67' Shelby GT 500

1:24 NASCAR first series has # 01 Mark Martin Army Vette, # 17 Matt Kenseth DeWALT Mustang, # 99 office Depot Carl Edwards 67' Shelby GT 500. These cars came out looking great. We are excited to be working with NASCAR and look forward to being able to grow our business and bring all of you fans new vehicle castings in the future. Did you see the sneek peak of the new Challenger? Thanks to everyone for your continued support.

Wade"

I have seen all the cars listed. They are the primary sponsor paint schemes less the supporting sponsor decals. Pretty clean looking. There is NO NASCAR TM on package or car so I have to assume the only cars to be produced will be of those drivers that do not have exclusive contracts with MA.

I got the 01 Army car it
