I have found alot of Errors in Billy's list for most of the Busch Series from 2000 to 2004, Now I only collected the 2000 - 2003 years because of Nesquik and Scott Riggs. I decided to take some pictures and post a list of all the Busch Series Diecast That I have been able to find this year. I have posted which ones are Promotional Items, and Who made them. I have been keeping notes on which ones were made from different Companies: Action/Winners Circle/Team Caliber/Hot Wheels. Most will be updated if other versions are found, and help of other collectors of course. These list are subject to change. I will also note which ones are really hard to find and near darn impossible to find these days. (HTF = Hard To Find / VHTF = Very Hard To Find.) I will post back stories on certain Diecast as time permits.

#1 Jamie McMurray - Yellow / Racing Champions / HTF

#4 Mike Wallace - Geico Pontiac / Racing Champions / Promo / VHTF
Also a major Error on this one with the Winston Cup logo printed instead of the Busch Series logo. This car ran at the Season opener at Daytona.

#5 Brian Vickers - GMAC / Team Caliber / Racing Champions

#7 Randy Lajoie - Kleenex / Racing Champions / Promo / HTF

#7 Randy Lajoie - Food City / Racing Champions / Promo / VHTF

#7 Randy Lajoie - Mejier / Racing Champions / Promo / VHTF

#7 Randy Lajoie - Cub Foods / Racing champions / Promo / HTF

#8 Hank Parker Jr - Bass Pro Shops / RCCA / HTF

#8 Hank Parker Jr - Dick's / RCCA / HTF

This car won the Talladega race under caution, running out a fuel at the end.

#8 Dale Earnhardt Jr - Red Oreo Ritz / Action
This car won the season opener Daytona race.

#8 Steve Park - MaxWell House / RCCA / Action

#8 Steve Park - Fig Newtons / RCCA / Action

#8 Tony Stewart - 3 Door Down / RCCA / Action

#9 Greg Biffle - Uhoh Oreos / Team Caliber / HTF
This car ran at Charlotte in the spring. Biffle made this car noticeable at the end of the race by spinning with 5 to go, and then spinning out again under caution.

#9 Jeff Burton - SKF 125th Anniversary / Team Caliber / VHTF
This car ran at the spring/summer Loudon race.

#10 Scott Riggs - Nesquik / Hot Wheels
This would be the final year for Nesquik in NASCAR and the final year for Scott Riggs at PPC. This has to be one of the weridest years for PPC as BOTH full time sponsors announced they would not be coming back after seasons end.

#10 Scott Riggs - Nesquik Test Car / Hot Wheels / HTF

#10 Scott Riggs - Nestle Tollhouse / Team Caliber / VHTF
This car ran at Dover in the fall.

#12 Tim Fedewa - Bicycle Playing Cards / Racing Champions / Promo
This diecast came with 2 sets of playing cards, with the car in the middle of the package. Car was ran at the Fall Rockingham race.

#17 Matt Kenseth - Alka Seltzer Plus /Team Caliber / Promo

#17 Matt Kenseth - Aleve / Team Caliber / Promo

#20 Mike Bliss - Rockwell Automation /Action / Promo / VHTF.
This car ran for the entire season. Mike Bliss had some controversy with Bobby Hamilton Jr when Jr punted him at Loudon, and Bliss returned the favor at Pikes Peak.

#21 Kevin Harvick - Pay Day / RCCA / Action / Winner's Circle
Won the spring Bristol race.

#21 Johnny Sauter - Pay Day / RCCA / Action / Winner's Circle

#30 Jimmy Vasser - Aventis (Blue) / Racing Champions / Promo / VHTF

#30 Jimmy Vasser - Aventis (Green) / Racing Champions / Promo / HTF
This car ran at the Season opener Daytona.

#38 Kasey Kahne - Great Clips / Team Caliber / HTF
Kasey Kahne a new upstart kid in the BGN, finally came to Victory in the season final race.

#57 Jason Keller - Albertsons / Racing Champions
This diecast would be the final year for Albertsons with Jason Keller, as in 2004 Jason Keller would threaten to leave PPC only to resign to drive the #22 Miller high life car.

#77 Donnie NuenBerger - Maryland / Racing Champions
This car came in 4 difference packages. University of Maryland released 4 packs of this car with Minor League Baseball Teams; Frederick Keys, Delmarva Thorebirds, Bowie Baysox, and 1 other team. The Car itself is the same in all 4 packs

#87 Joe Nemecheck - Cellular one / Racing Champions
This car was driven by multiple people, but Joe won Las Vegas & Texas in this car.

#99 MW - Aarons 3 Stooges / RCCA / Action

#99 MW - Aarons Terminator / RCCA / Action

#99 Kenny Wallace - St. Louis Cardinals / Team Caliber
This is another one that is mis-printed with the Cup Series Logo instead of the Busch Series logo.

Since you put in the #10 Test car from the HW Wrenchin and Racin Set, they also make a #25 Marines one. I never saw many. As a Hamilton Sr./Jr. fan, I remember seeing it, but the package was beat, so I passed figuring I'd find another. Never got back to it, but that one comes to mind.

I'm gonna have to do some research on that one. the link here only shows 10 sets for 2003, and reading the last picture mentions no Marines, but does mention a #55 pack with Bobby Hamilton Sr. Hot Wheels Racing NASCAR (10) Acrylic 2-packs Wrenchin' & Racin' Limited Edition | eBay Did they make this set in 2002 also?

Well, yea, these were done for 2003. I really loved these sets personally. As I'm trying to downsize, I'm trying to decide if I want to keep them. The test cars made over the years rarely resemble what was actually used. Anyways, back to the point... I only remember seeing it 1 time. I don't think I saved a picture. So let's put an * next to that 1 for now.

I'm also pretty sure that Hot Wheels did the 9/11 scheme for Hamilton Jr. as well. I'm sorry for being so vague. I have thousands of pieces. I only inventoried like a 3rd of my collection so far and I already have over like 3,000 items. Over the next year I'll be working on things, so if I see it along my journey, I'll let you know. I swear there was an Iwo Jima scheme too, but maybe I'm over thinking it at this point.

Do you know how many sets were actually made? Also since you are downsizing, If you happen to have that 2000 #8 Kleenex car. I would like to have it.

No idea how many sets were made. I'll be honest, I'm just getting back in to the knowledge of things so that's why my memory is a little foggy. I've kind of been out of it for a few years. I have a 2 and 4 year old and helped prepped the land for the house we moved in to this time last year. I had a lot of my stuff scattered. I have a ton of stuff that I am just trying to inventory. I got through about a 1/3 of it so far. I need to start trying to sell some of the stuff I know I can give a new home to make room to move in the basement as this point.

I'm not sure what #8 Kleenex car you mean. Did I mention one somewhere?

I think this is a nice update to Billy's lists. I have been pleasantly surprised by home many Busch cars were made back then, especially from 2000 and earlier. Almost every full-time team was made in one scale or another.

The most teams I counted for was in 2002. 2000 may have been close. 2001 had 18 #98 cars, 2003 had 4 #7 Kleenex cars and 8 #8 JRM cars.
