It says the hardtop/Pit Stop version. They apparantly had MA make them just for them. That is not uncommon. I have a Blaney Jasper Pit Stop, that was contracted by a dealer in Ohio. That was the only place to get THAT VERSION. It is prolly the same here. He contracted to get the Pit Stop version done, and the regular MA cars will still prolly be available through the usual channels. Just my take on how I read the ad.

That's for sure. What makes them so special? I'm not a Gordon fan and don't want them, but I am sure that there are Gordon fans who don't know about that site, so that just empowers the Ebay scaplers who do. Just another MA F/U!!!

yea, i'm not a fan either but since they are special paint schemes, they need to be in my collection.
they are already on preorder for me

I just thought it would be nice to give you guys the link, figured someone else would want these.
Yeah, but the Ebay guys are probably people who are ordering them from Copperstate and then jacking the prices up and reselling them.
I thought of that also, but this comment made it sound (to me) as if this were just another MA release.
"Car shall be shipped when released from the manufacturer. I will receive this in car the same time as everyone else and will ship out within 48 hours from receiving it."

That and, if this were some "exclusive release" and I were auctioning it off, I would certainly make mention of that to ensure I got the highest price.

I dunno. Guess we will see. I will talk to my MA dealer next week.
The seller has it in the listing that they are preoroder, the copperstateracing website says they are preorder with a ETA of Jan 31, 2008. So my guess would be they are ordering them from the website and pre-selling them on ebay, which I thought was now a no-no. but I could be wrong.

yea, no kidding. none of my 2007 1/64 have those features. even the 1/64 elites only have opening trunk and hood but never seen them have opening roof flaps.

That's a good question. Also, are the 1/64 individually numbered?

I emailed the seller and he said it was pitstop. Forgot to mention he said it had open hood, trunk, and flaps though dammit
whoever bought it should know they dont produce 1/64s with that detail, but they said hood open so I guess it sounds like DS.
