Ok, I want to go to the BoA 500 in Oct.
Questions
1) how do you know if drivers will be at there trailers to sign and what time frame do they usually do this

2) how do find out who's driver (can't tell with the #01 anymore)

3) is there free parking there like richmond

When I went to the last richmond race all the trailers were closing and hte race was starting. Got free tickets from a guy who was looking to give them to soldiers so can't be made at that.

Haven't decided if I want to spend the money to go to the race (things seem tight right now), but thought I could go before and get some Army stuff.

Thanks in advance Earle

Well I go there every year, and the only way to find out who's signing is on there site, or if you go to the trailers they have a paper posted when they are. As for the 01 question I guess that's just a team decision, I'm gonna take a guess and say Martin will be running it this year at Lowe's again though. Lastly for the free parking, every time I've been there we paid 10 bucks to park in a field and from what I know there is NO free parking.

Same thing here. We didn't find any free parking at all. Some fields were a little cheaper than others but it was all about how far you wanted not to have to walk. As for the signings, Mearsfan is pretty much correct. That is two of the three best sources. We also found a local Charlotte paper that had some of the signings times and who was going to be where during the weekend. One very big piece of advice, If you have never gone after multiple signings. You can waste away pretty much most of your time trying to get one big name autograph, but it isn't out of the question to get several autographs of drivers that would be lower down the starting grid as we would say. Kyle Petty, Sterlin Marlin, Kenny Schrader, Riggs, Ragen, so on and so forth. Some of those drivers will talk to you just like you are his next door neighbor. Big names don't have much time and have a lot of autographs for there short amount of signing time, they don't talk much and can be rude. Not so much because they want to, more due to the pressure that is on them and the shear amount of fans that want there autographs.

I haven't been to Richmond, been to Bristol, and the best parking you can get will be $10.00 anywhere.
As far as auto's, in Milwaukee, they post who will be appearing on their own track's website along with the owners website.
Good Luck!!!!

Thanks guys, think i'll find the email address to the sports guy out there and see if he can tell me since we don't get that paper when it gets closer to the race.

As far as auto's I'll really just be after the 01 team and maybe Hamlin.

Thanks, figure if I'm going to try and get auto's might as well go to the race since it's a 4 hr drive.
