well, i don't collect nascar anymore per say, but i took time to figure this out. made some calls, and about an hours time. but here's the scoop.

i finally got a store on the phone that had actually just gotten 2, that right 2 (that was all) of these harvick camping world trucks in. they are 19.99 unless you are in some club. then 17.99. but, each store is getting a VERY limited quantity. they also had a #33 and a #10 vehicle.

so, if you don't have a camping world near you. you call: 1-888-615-6187. that is the corporate headquarters in kentucky. they have 963 in stock. but DON"T know it! so, you have to order item # 35762. that is the #2 camping world kevin harvick 1/24 scale diecast promo truck. then they can process your order. 19.99 plus shipping. i wanted one, but with shipping it went to almost $30.00. to much for me.

so, there you go, my morning project. hope i got this all straight!

Kwik, Thanks for the info. With the gold card membership I can get it straight offline for 26.95 shipped. that isn't that bad. Better than any ebay offer right now. Thumbs up maybe I can get it the first of next week.

glad i could help you guys. i guess it's something i like to do, when people want something and hit an impasse. i find it fun, or a challenge, to call around everywhere till someone in the company or sponser, gets me an answer, and if i'm polite, and kind, these people are pretty helpful and forthright. in fact, it really gets some of the sponsers upset, and they go out of their way to help me. i know the guy i talked to thursday at camping world, was not pleased to see the truck selling on ebay at the price it was at.

sometimes you hit a wall. i could get no where about the reeses elvis car. but i tried.

i don't do much on here, so it's my way of contributing i guess.

They don't mess around at Camping World. I ordered my truck on Saturday afternoon using standard shipping and I got it today (Tuesday). I noticed that Ebay is FLOODED with these now. I feel kinda bad for the people that paid big bucks for one of these. Thanks again Kwik.

you guys spread the word fast. i was curious what my task acheived. they sold over 40 trucks by last sat. from when i posted this originally (like 36 hours or so). i should have asked for a commission with them! oh well, it was fun. and as much as i liked the truck, i really don't need another piece of nascar diecast. but for you that wanted it i'm glad you got one at cost.

for anyone still reading. i called reeses also. i went thru all the people i could. not one would tell me they had the 1/24 scale elvis indy car, that they saw on the auction sell for over 700 dollars. i tried........

Kwik the Camping world truck was good info. Very much appreciated. I tried for a little while on the hersheys promotions and if anyone else had any info on that car today. About the most info I have been able to get is from you and the board. I would really like to get my hands on both the 1/24 &1/64 version of the Elvis car. Hopefully my 1/64th will come in from the promotion. Now just finding someone that will sell a Elvis 1/24th. Yea and hopefully for less than $711 NOT more!!!!

Sad thing is there is not one single one listed on ebay for less than what you can get direct for!!
