Generally speaking I'm not a DIN guy. It is basically a number plate some factory worker in China installed from a bin during production. Having said there there are instances where certain DINs are genuinely meaningful. Door numbers are the most obvious. For this particular car I'd say there are four or maybe five DINs that have meaning, this being one of them. #3 is a given so that's one of the four (or five).

Alright. So my DIN is a little esoteric.

DIN's 1 & 603 would be somewhat significant. 1st and last DINs from his last win.

DIN 3. Enough said.

DIN 76, as in his 76th and last career win.

And finally DIN 188, as in the lap 188 and the last time he led the field to the checkered flag. That was pre-GWC when races all ended as scheduled.
