Pretty good day, I picked up two Treasure Hunt Corvettes even though my box had three in them, just asked everyone else there if they needed it. I have pmed someone if they are interested in the second one, but if not then it will be up for trade or sale. Heres the pics.

Nice finds selby. I went to mine this morning but got there 5 minutes late and the last of the cases were being handed out. I did get 3 of the Wastlander dirt bikes and 2 of the '67 Camaros from the leftovers though.

there are 2 types this year of hunts.
"super" treasure hunts and regular. you bought a regular 10 spoke for 12. dollars. the 67 dollar one is a five spoke super hunt i would bet. and way over priced, as they were everywhere today at k-mart. we had 5 people get the super, out of 15. i got the regular one.

want something rare? hit your k-mart every day like i do. look for the "greenlight collectables" cars. they will next be the muscle car garage series 3 and the barrett jackson auction cars. look for the chase of each car. they only make 70. and they carry some value, especially camaro's, mustangs and cudas. the chase cars are called "green machines'. and they are green versions of the regular car. sometimes the green machines have some flames or decor. but most are solid green. it says "green machine' on the front of the package. they are sold in k-mart, and meijers retail only.. but hard to find. i found 3 in the first 2 series before christmas. sold them for $200.00. not bad for a 12 dollar investment. and didn't need ebay. just posted on a diecast website. got loads of offers, realistic offers.

i learned today. there are 2 versions of the super treasure hunt. a zamac and a gloss black paint. they are more rare. but that is all relevant really. consider most k-marts had all cases with a reg. vette hunt in them. our k-mart had 15 cases, guess the manager got the 16th...........and out of 15 cases, all had a vette hunt, and 5 were black supers. tha's not real rare on either part.

i edited the wrong post...........go back up to my last post and read about greenlight cars. they are much more collectable than any nascar or hot wheels or johnny lightning diecast.
