Glad to see another Busch regular win, congrats to Leffler. And also good job Scott on another top 10, wish Stephen would have done better though.

Why do we always congratulate Wimmer for not winning?

Why do you have such a hard-on for Wimmer?
Or is it just to bust the chops of his fans here?
BTW, If Dave Blaney woulda been in the Fan1st car instead of Mike Bliss, he coulda won also, so it looks like between Leffler, Reutiman and Blaney, Toyota is starting to really get a handle on this Busch deal.

I am just sick of hearing about Wimmer every week, no matter where he finishes. There are 42 other drivers out there, but we don't here about every one of them every week. You know what I remember about Wimmer? He finished in the top 5 in his first Daytona 500 and then got a DUI or somthing like that, and then he hasn't proven anything after that. He's been put in good equipment and he can't deliver.

I always congratulate Wimmer because he is my favorite and actually does do a good job every race, last I checked top 5s and top 10s were good, especially when the rest of you considered him junk and said he would be fired have way through the season.

Untill they go to the cup package next year... then it might be back to the drawing board!
You hear about Wimmer because there are fans of his here on this board. They don't bust your chops when there is conversation about your favorite driver, and iof they do it's just funnin', not serious, so I think it's only fair that they don't get chided when they talk about their favorite driver. Come see, come saw....as far as the 'yota deal next year. Your probably right. They are still behind motor wise in the Cup package and it will probably take a year or two to get consistant like Chevy. The Busch motor is essentially the truck motor so it's got a few seasons under it.

Well sorry for creating such an uproar for simply supporting my drivers and commenting on how they did...its just like me and tater said, can't even say Wimmers name without him being bashed.

No uproar, I just think we are all friends here and we should have enough respect to temper our opinions enough that we can say what we want, or withhold our opinions so that we don't offend our fellow boardmembers and hopefully friends.
By now we know what peoples opinions are of some of the drivers, but that shouldn't cause the fans to with hold their joy of a good run.
If they wanna say something critical, they have the infield to say that stuff. It is fair game there and if you don't want to hear your driver bashed, just stay clear. I know they probably chew Dave up and spit him out in there, so I choose not to venture in, in the possibility that I may be offended. But on the other hand, out in the open, where I want to share my joy with the other boardmembers about a good run for him, and share other boarbmembers joy about a good run from their guy, I don't want to see someones feelings hurt because their drivers are not perceived to be as good, and/or fortunate as another guys drivers. Enough of the soap box, I hope I made my self clear, and didn't offend anyone. It was never my intention.
In the famous words of my 43rd cousin 10 times removed, (Rodney King), "Can't we all just get along..."LOL! :surrender:

Hey that's what being a fan is all about, rooting for them and taking the time to say good job especially if your favorite driver isn't the most popular driver and doesn't win every week. Not to mention Wimmer doesn't really have a name for himself, so he had to bust his ass to get up there, and when someone like that finishes good he deserves a congrats.

Toyota still SUCKS!
Now that Dodge is no longer "German", there is no more excuse to let 'Toada in the sport, so sayonara suckers!
Why? Toyota is the only one that builds thier model in the US. The other three builds theres in Canada and Mexico.
Not for long, the new Avenger that will run full time for Dodge next year is built in Sterling HTS. MI.
And those Toyota plants in the South will be packed up and shipped back to Japan just as soon as the last american car maker goes belly up.
All part of their plan.
