never heard of this one coming out.is it a custom most likely or did i just miss this?can't be new if it's in the old packaging

I'm pretty sure that was the car rudd made his return in at the spring dover race last year when stewart got injured at charlotte.

you would be correct, it was dover and rudd did take over for him about 10 laps into the race.

its got to be a custom car. it was never produced but it still looks sweet.

Whoever did it sealed the package perfectly. Sticker is intact and all. I followed the lines on the package design and can't see any flaws.

I emailed the guy since he lives here in Bristol and asked where it came from. Here is the response...

At a retail store, this is the only one they had on Tony Stewart.

In all my thousands of Walmart, Target, and Kmart stops I've never seen that car. But, I've never found a '06 Gordon Nicorette hood on the pegs either. It doesn't look like a custom, even the best customs have tell-tell signs

He said he found it on pegs at a retail store and he doesn't understand my question. I guess it could be real, you would have to ask the buyer to see the truth.

Smoke, I had already found it and had it in my watch list. As soon as you posted it here I went ahead and put a bid in so that everyone knew I was intrested in it. Guess that doesn't matter cause I see there are no loyalties to other members when it comes to that. Must say at least Joker had the courtesy to contact me and let me tell him what my top end bid would be before he decided to get in on it. The fact of the matter is, I wanted to get it in hand to see if it was real or not. I'm like the rest of you. I contacted the seller and he told me he found it on the pegs just like that. I too followed all the lines and couldn't find any flaws in it that would give it away as a custom. I am not going to go any higher on the bidding so if any one else wants too bid I am already past the limit of what my curiosity will let me spend on it. I would though like some pics, and POP#'s of it if anyone here actually does win it. I would like to find out if it is a true rarety or not. That just might be another 1/64th that will eluded me in the future but I can't bid a high amount with out knowing if it truly real or not..

don't worry larkin, i am just watching it. as long as you or racer is still interested, i will not bid. you don't have to worry about loyalty. i respect everyone here and hopefully the feeling is mutual.

eh, I've been outbid by members here before, no big deal, someone always wants something more than the other guy or has more money which is the cause of most of my losses. I'd like to know who sonnydbars is because that sounds real familiar. I'd love to know their top end .
