Glad to see Sorenson has a ride, Even if it's not the best..

But still to many Cup Guys.

I actually work for the team that Reed Sorenson is going to be driving for. Jimmy Means Racing. The team is really small.. actuallly only 2 people on the team payroll. The rest of us are volunteers and do what we can on our days off.

None of it is unappreciated tho. We are always thanked for our help regardless of how big or small our contributions to the team maybe. Anyways down below is a picture I took of the car on Saturday. As far as I know we dont have a sponsor for Daytona or any other race this season. We are locked into the 1st five races in the Nationwide series. We are also going to try to make the Cup race in Bristol. The team has 4 Nationwide series cars, and 2 Sprint Cup cars.

I know Reed will be in the car for Daytona.. but nothing has been confirmed after that. I would like to see Reed drive for us all season.. but he will more than likely find something better.

Reed has actually been up to the race shop a few times and seems to be really humbled. He went from a premier Nationwide team to searching for a ride. Anyways a pic of the car is down below.. minus all the contingency decals.

i just love being able to look at an entry list of 50 cars and pick the handful with a chance to win (kyle, kurt, tony, denny, joey, jr., or brad). maybe i'll watch at phoenix if there's less than 4 cup guys entered.

this is what the sport needs more of-cars that are literally built in somebody's garage, not in a state-of-the-art shop. that's not what this sport should be about. now it's all guys being used as mobile advertisments. nascar's motto used to be / should be "racing is not entertainment, it just happens to be entertaining."
