Eagles signed WR Kevin Curtis to a six-year contract.
Perfect fit. Andy Reid needed another quality wideout and will know how to use Curtis' speed in a variety of ways. While his potential to be a "number one" receiver is lessened in Philly's spread-the-wealth offense, expect Curtis to start over Hank Baskett and make consistent big plays. It's early, but look for Curtis to be ranked in a packed group of WR3s.

this will give mcNabb a good target. i did find it odd they didn't resign garcia, as well as he fit in last year.

chris meyers interviewed garcia on the drive at five. was interesting. garcia was pretty quiet, and accepted moving on. he's going to tampa with the mindset he's going to start. but he was hesitant in answering if philly let him go, because it would hurt McNabbs confidence. or in other words, after garcias success, was philly afraid mcNabb would be worried about being benched if he played poorly. garcia was pretty classy, and let it go, and just concentrated on the future and wouldn't speculate on that idea. but did reserve the right to revisit the subject at a later date.
