Based on what ive read, the jimmie johnson 1/64 and 1/24 2007 car have been released. I also saw the 24, 20 and 11 car in 1/24 released as well. i'm trying to find pics but am having no success.

Where did you hear they were out? My dealer said last week he was suppose to get the Hamlin this week but I havent called to see if he did.

i found the johnson info at rpmcollectables.com and the other 3 at suesraceshop.com. try there.

Ill call by dealer tomorrow and see if he got the Hamlin in. Im going up there Friday so if he got them in Ill take a picture and post if none are found before then.

Called my dealer today, he did get the 07 Hamlin's. Snow is suppose to hit tomorrow so it may be Friday or Saturday before I get up there.

some more. the 1/64 is drivers select. it's the best i could find. looks like they went back to big packaging.

One of my local dealers has a few of them in stock and expects more tomorrow. Interesting note-- MA is no longer publishing how many are made on the labels-- (i.e. __ of 3000). Instead, they are simply putting "Limited Distribution" on the labels. How does this increase collectibility? If the cars just sell out, now they can make more!! They are doing this on both the 1/24 and the 1/64 scale cars.

Yeah I was talking to my dealer about this tonight. He got the 1:64 Pit stop cars for Gordon and Johnson. They are just in a box with a clear window.kspool said:

Dang, I thought they would look better than that!! They almost look like the old racing collectables cars. They don't have the amount of production and you must remove them to see the car completely. I think I'll stay with the $5 WC cars for now. at list they can be hung on the wall if you want to display them, Don't cost as much, and they can be viewed without removing them. Maybe this will be a plus for the WC collectors this year! (If they produce enough of the different paint schemes and don't make five different releases of the same car in five different token type packages!)

I just hope that this year I can find the WC cars. I got the Tony stewart old spice car around christmas time. That is sad. I need to find them this year.

Don't feel too bad, I have NEVER found the Old Spice car OR the test car wave!!
I think I'll be getting all the hood open ones this year. The boxed ones are really just Winner's Circle cars. And I pretty much hate Winner's Circle (From 97-05 I only got what was not available elswhere) but as of last year I got one of everything I found...that way I can tell my mom to bring home anything, and that it doesn't matter what it is for custom useage...
