2 years in the making..........................



Went to Target today and the store had over stocked the shelves with Hot Wheels. They had random full pegs down the aisle with Hot Wheels. Well while my son and I were looking through the Mystery packs, out the corner of my eye I saw a green corner and was like "it couldnt be". Well I reached in and sure enough it was the regular release of the Treasure Hunt "Hammer Sled". Which by coincidence was the same Treasure Hunt that Larkin found just this Saturday but was the "Super" Treasure Hunt. If i would have stopped at that walmart like I had planned I would have ended up with both versions. Also while i was digging i found the Batmobile variation with the smooth grill. The pics of the grill didnt come out that great but you can see what I mean.

So congrats to me on finding my first Treasure Hunt, since I have only been hunting them for at least 2 years now. And also to Larkin for these being added to his collection, since he needs them and it was him that gave me my first Hunt of the "Tattoo Hut".

yea i was surprised to find it myself. i figured i have looked for 2 years now for one and have never found one that it had to be something other that a Treasure Hunt.

Glad you found that hammer sled, I was really wanting one of those to go with the Super treasure hunt you missed last weeked. They don't come often but for some reason when you find one it always seemd pretty cool!!!

It's so hard to find anything good aroud here unless your the scalpers who pick all the good stuff. Had to stop at a 24hr.
wallys around 4 in the morning on way to reunion last weekend & my kids wanted football to throw around. So we went to toys & saw a flat HWs box in a cart. So we stoped to look at the HW & nothing wanted but my kids wanted some so we got a few. Then we get to check out & the cashier saw we hws & told us that 2 guys come in from 2-4 in the morning & buy up the hws everyday. Just missed out on 2 THs she told us.
So hold on to the hunts cause they are HTF in some areas! Keep on hunting for them they are out there to be found. :thumbup:
