Does anybody know a way to get better Frames Per Second while playing a game like nr2003? My FPS is dropping to 1 at times and bounces around between 5 and 20 all the time.

Well it all depends on your PC setup, usually I run anywhere from 100 to 175 FPS. Sounds like hardware issues. I have a pretty high end video card, processor, RAM and lots of upgrades I have done to my PC so it can be a gaming machine.

go into options and turn off as many things as you can. also
turn down the # of cars you see ahead and behind.
