Kevin Harvick Inc. (KHI) co-owner and driver Kevin Harvick will return to the driver’s seat of the No. 33 KHI Chevrolet in the NASCAR Nationwide Series in 2008. Harvick, a two-time NASCAR Busch Series Champion, will pilot the No. 33 Chevrolet for 22 of the 35 races throughout the season. “I’m really looking forward to racing for KHI in the Nationwide Series in 2008,” said Harvick. “This will be the first year that I will only race for KHI in this series. My goal is to go out and be consistent, competitive and win races for KHI.” Joining Harvick behind the wheel will be Cale Gale for 11 races and defending Truck Series Champion Ron Hornaday for two races. Both Harvick and Hornaday are proven champions and know how to win races. Harvick displays the 2001 and 2006 NASCAR Busch Series championships on his resume, as well as the NASCAR Busch Series Owner’s Championship in 2003 for Richard Childress Racing (RCR). Hornaday is one of only two drivers to have won three Truck Series championships, including the 2007 championship driving for KHI. Gale returns to KHI where he will continue to learn and gain valuable experience both on and off the track. “To share seat time with Kevin (Harvick) and Ron (Hornaday), I couldn’t ask for better teammates,” Gale said. “I can go to both of these guys for help in the car on every track and they can give me great tips based on their experiences in the Truck, Cup and Nationwide Series. I’m really excited and look forward to a great year at KHI.”Returning in 2008 as sponsors on the No. 33 KHI Chevrolet will be Camping World and RoadLoans.com. (KHI PR) (12-07-07)

I think Kevin will probably bring home two or three victories in his own equipment next year. It's going to be a different game for him driving his own equipment vice RCR's, but I still think he can get it done.

Surprisingly, Harvick's yet to win in his own cars. Bobby Labonte won last year and Stewart has at least two wins. But those were all on restrictor plate tracks, right? I dunno. I think he can grab at least two wins, four at the most.

I think it's a good idea for Kevin to run a full season in his own car. One he will see first hand where the improvements need to be made. Second when he wins the third championship He will have made his mark in the History books, Third he will have a lot more info to share with his development driver. I think it will be at least five wins and probably more! They will probably come in the second part of the season but they will come!

if he wins a championship with only running 22 of the 35 races, that will definetly go down in the history books.
