I just recently built my own gaming computer/Personal Computer and I absolutely love it! I was just wondering if anyone else on the forums has done the same? Would love to know the specs of it as well.

I went with a 2 TB HD for now but within the next month or so will be getting a 250GB SSD. I run it on my 32' tv.
Yeah, I don't think ill need more for now. Though my computer was built so I have space to upgrade and/or add more of anything. I am very happy with it. I may soon invest in a 4K monitor. I can basically run anything on Ultra settings.

I still need to get my Graphics Card but am waiting until the summer as AMD will be coming out with newer Graphics cards. I will upgrade most of my stuff once we buy a house.
Have built my own since the x286 days ;-). One I have now was built 6-7 years ago, still going strong, have upgraded VGA and HDD since than. AMD Phenom ii x6 1090T w/8GB RAM, 2TB main drive, 1TB storage, AMD 7980 video.

I have a few...
3 i7 (Sandy Bridge) desktops, 2 Kentsfield Quad Cores and a Lenovo i5 laptop. All of the desktops I built and the laptop was a gift to my wife for Christmas.

I spent 15 years at Intel before changing into my current career field in IT.
I might look into building a gaming one soon. I just got into iracing and I would like to have a better computer.

What kind of Graphics card would you suggest I buy in the $150-$250 range?

I've always had good success with Nvidia based ASUS cards. My current machine is running a GTX 750 Ti and it's been rock solid since I built this system two years ago, from gaming to coding.

Yeah I've actually built my own rig too. I only have a modest build right now but it works: AMD FX-6300 6-core, 12gb of RAM, only a 500gb HDD but I have a 1.5TB external, 120gb SSD and a AMD R9 200 Series. I'm upgrading here very soon with new case, new SSD and more RAM. Also be sure to check out pcpartpicker.com when you start building your own rigs and it'll show you what goes best with what and even the wattage in case you need a new power supply for the parts as well.
