How the Sprint Cup Chase Grid looks following the Kobalt 400

All three races of the Sprint Cup season have seen three different winners. That means barring a series of unfortunate events, Denny Hamlin, Jimmie Johnson and Brad Keselowski have locked themselves into this year’s Chase for the Sprint Cup
Only 16 drivers can qualify for the Chase, either through wins or points.
Below is how the Chase grid looks following Sunday’s Kobalt 400. Drivers in green are in the Chase based on wins and those in yellow would qualify on points.
The drivers in red would be out of the Chase, but they still have 23 races to improve their standing.

Who cares how the grid looks after three races?
1. It's going to change because there are 23 more races before the stupid Chase begins.
2. It's stupid that you can qualify for the playoffs (in any sport) so early in the season.
3. The Championship is a crapshoot so it really doesn't matter.

I'm waiting for NASCAR to add a fan vote spot for the Chase. I am sure they will publish an article like this every week.

Certainly means near nothing at this point.
