Ford Chip Ganassi Racing has confirmed that multiple IndyCar champions Sebastien Bourdais and Scott Dixon will be the third drivers for its Ford GT lineup in the Sebring 12 Hours.

Bourdais will join Joey Hand and Dirk Muller in the #66 car, with Dixon paired with Ryan Briscoe and Richard Westbrook in the #67.
Bourdais also drove that car in the season-opening Rolex 24 at Daytona, while Dixon will make his debut in the GT machine, having driven Ganassi’s Daytona Prototype in the Rolex.
“It’s exciting to continue with Sebastien Bourdais at the 12 Hours of Sebring,” said Ganassi’s managing director Mike Hull.
“The addition of Scott Dixon to our Ford Performance GT lineup enhances the depth chart. To have six high-caliber drivers who unselfishly know how to share with each other supports the momentum for the next step in North America.
“Our culture is about drivers, who as teammates hand the car to the next as they would like to receive it.”
Although he has never raced the car, it is understood that Dixon has been involved during its development in tests.
