I can't believe I am agreeing with something Jeff Gordon says but this time I am. 1st- It needs to be run on the 1.5 mile tracks and above. What is this car really going to do in the big one at Talladega or Daytona? How is it going to draft? Are they still going to need the restrictor plates? Still a lot of questions!! 2nd-I also like what Jeff is saying about it puts the driving back into the drivers hands. Once the other Teams play catch up to Hendricks I think will be be seeing more heads up racing than we have been seeing in these last five or six years. If the car isn't set up perfectly they still can be competitive. As for the wing? I'm kind of in the middle on that one. It's different, It would seem like it would fall to the Toyota's advantage but as we are all seeing, toyota just hasn't got anything going for them so far! So I don't think that is really an issue anymore. But back to the super speedways, Is it going to help or hender the performances of the cars when we get to those tracks where Drafting is so very important to the race. Guess we will see soon enough. I still think NASCAR is jumping the gun in saying it will be run full time. I can see where the teams would want it to be one type of car and not multiple types plus the general purpose was to help teams get on a more even $$ playing field. If they do go full time it should help teams that are running on these tighter budgets.
