Jeff Gordon Store Exclusive Finish Rainbow Elite - Opinions Needed

I won't go through the long drawn out process it took me to get this car, but it was a much worst experience than even dealing with fanatics. The car finally arrived two days ago, and while I think the car itself would look great if it were flawless, I am having an issue with the rip in the wrap by the AARP on the decklid. In addition, after all the issues I had getting the car, I am wondering how hard it would to be to return it!! How much do you think this detracts from the car, and should I keep it or return it? I am really on the fence on this one.

From the picture the rip doesn't look to bad. If it were mine I would more than likely keep it. Ultimately you're the one that has to live with it. Will it bug you to death? If so,send it back.

I'd keep it, based on the difficulty dealing w/the Gordon Store angle. But that is not knowing how difficult it was, but knowing you it must have been a bear for you to keep a flawed car.

I'd say keep it. It's not very noticeable. My Kevin Harvick Bud package car from 2014 has a similar tear on the back bumper. Of course, the Gordon is a much higher dollar piece, so I understand your pain there. Still looks like a nice piece to me.

Karl, it all depends on how much it bothers you. If the car is that rare enough, you may reget sending it back.

If it was me, I would at least call or email them to see if there is another one. If there isn't I keep it as Jeff may not be signing anymore.

Keep it, but call and get your options from them and go from there.

That car looks weird without the red. Anyhow, nice pick up! I wouldn't send it back. Its such a minor detail that dealing with the idiots at Fanatics wouldn't be worth it...

If it was that difficult to obtain, then keep it. The chances of it getting lost sending it back are out there. Great add.

Interesting-- I just looked on Ebay and the one that is listed looks identical to mine....

That little gray triangle is supposed to be there apparently. It's on my standard arc as well.

So apparently I was mistaken; the gray triangle is part of the logo (although when I search for AARP logos I don't see the triangle). When I look at the standard finish, it definitely doesn't stand out like it does on this finish. Cigarman on the RCCA forum pointed this out to me!! I looked on Ebay and they're all like this. Problem solved.

I would probably keep it regardless. I have not had problems with the jg store, but the stories I have read... Geeez! Guess is there is nothing there to replace it with.

Sir there store is not fun to deal with. Very difficult. To many hands in the pot.

And to note My Pearl car just came and it has a few markings like that also. So Keep it, Or send it to a friend. I've got the perfect spot for it. Always good to hear from hear from you bud..

Awesome piece,I have been waiting for them to resolve a issue i had with them since October.They sent me the wrong piece and Ive almost given up thinking it will get resolved.Worst place i have ever dealt with a Ive missed out on some great pieces because of their communication.Sounds like you made a decision but with me being biased i would have said keep it and be thankful you even got it
