In 2007, IROC could not find a sponsor and postponed the first two races at Daytona and Texas.[1] IROC went on hiatus in 2007 hoping to return with a sponsor in 2008. In March 2008, IROC auctioned off its tools, equipment, cars, and memorabilia, and went out of business.[

I used this site to find some information out about the car # and the color of the cars I am making for Jeff Gordon.

It was something I saw on another site it was purple and I have the white and pink ones and questioned the purple since I have never seen it and have been collecting for about 6 years. Must have been a custom color

I also found it helpful to search youtube videos and watch some of the races to verify colors. I am making a car from each year gordon was in it. The 4 races a year they had different car #s and different car colors depending on where they were in the standings. He could have raced a purple one. If it looks good get it. Nice addition to the collection anyway. They only made diecast for the race winners and champions from what i can tell.
