According to a release on Jr.'s website. Dale Jr.'s free agency has just become a lot more attractive to all Owners!!!! Jr. is has been the most popular driver the past few years, but he is also going to be bringing the Budweiser Sponsorship with him. He has an agreement to drive the Budweiser Logo's through 2008.

"Budweiser, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Dale Earnhardt, Inc. have enjoyed a great relationship since 1999. Dale Jr., and his father before him, have been excellent and loyal ambassadors for our company and the sport of NASCAR. Budweiser and JR Motorsports have an agreement in place to ensure Dale Jr. will continue to personally represent Budweiser through 2008, and we look forward to discussing our future with Dale Jr. and DEI in the weeks ahead."

That is in reference to his "Personal Services" contract w/Bud. The sponsorship is another all together different deal. But I am sure they will go w/him if they are able to get it done. There is no future for them at DEI if he moves on.

Personally, I think if Jr. plays his cards he will still be driving for Budwieser and Will have a dominate team to boot. There are just far to many teams that will take Jr. and offer him so much to drive for their team. If the negotiations include Budwieser then He will still carry them as his primary sponsor. The relation ship betwwn him and Bud is just too strong. If Jarrett acn carry UPS, and Michael can carry NAPA then Jr. shouldn'y have any problem carrying Budwieser with him.

Exactly. They know where their bread is buttered. Besides, look back over their motorsports history. They stick w/somebody once they commit. Example, Kenny Bernstein and Brandon, Jr. Johnson, (the guys name escapes me now) the Unlimited Hydroplane team and Bobby Rahal. They are usually in things for the long haul. How long were they w/Hendrick? That I think was probably their shortest sponsorship.
