On Jayski's it was written that RYR is closing down the Busch program, and Stephen Leicht will be released at the end of the year. As of now, they are anticipating finishing this years Busch season.
It is reported that Stephen is persuing his options elsewhere within NASCAR. Good luck Stephen....there is an outstanding talent, someone should pick that boy up!

this is just gonna light up Trevs day. sucks for Leicht, but maybe he can still get a good ride, hes still young enough and from what ive heard has done pretty decent this year.

He'll get picked up without a problem. Might be a good thing for Leicht. It's not like Yates is lighting the world on fire anymore.

He shouldn't have any problem getting a ride for next year. Good driver and great guy on top of that. Any organization would get a great guy if they picked him up.

I felt really bad when that happened. He is the only guy who has been competitive in their cars this year, in fact he won a race and finished second once. He will be OK, maybe better off......unless he hooks up w/GEM.

I hope someone picks him up, he's awesome and I think he would do alot better at another team!
