in case anyone on here watched..........salisbury, md., beat penn. last night live on espn to advance to the little league world series. this is the town i live in. they may go out quick, i don't think they match up with some of those bigger kids, but a good group of ballplayers.. they will be on live again this weekend, but not sure when yet. was a good game last night. 0-0 till the last inning and salisbury put 4 on the board and held pa. down in the last half of the sixth. i beleive it was the shortstop from salisbury that made i think the #8 web gem on baseball tonight. can you imagine how that would be? i can't having played little league 4 years.

Congrats to your hometown team for makin it to the LLWS! You should go see them play in the LLWS. Been to see some of the game when I was younger & playin in LL in my town.
sweet, I remember when Apopka went to the LLWS in 2001, almost had the win too, until they blew it in the final inning. of course they got to the finals with a little luck after the team from New York got DQ'ed because the coaches son was too old to play.
