My latest NASCAR conversions
I’m new to the site, and thought I’d share a few of my conversions. These are from last year, but I’ve done many from previous years too. Although the background is from Darlington, the cars are from the 2022 Daytona 500, collecting the entire grid.

Here’s one I finished today, Jacques Villeneuve’s practice car from the 2022 Daytona 500. It wasn’t until I had ordered the decals and painted the donor car orange before I found out this wasn’t the actual race livery, so I went ahead and finished it. He got a new sponsor just before the race, and the car looked completely different in the race, mostly turquoise with orange and white. I’m building that one too, but just started it. Used my first attempt at a Daytona background too. It needs some adjusting, but I think I can make it work.

Here’s another, David Ragan’s Mustang from the 2022 Daytona 500. Very similar livery to the Henric Camaro I posted earlier.

Ryan Blaney’s 2022 Daytona 500 Mustang. I was able to use a Blaney car for the conversion, so I can’t take credit for the fluorescent yellow. Removed inaccurate decals with acetone-free polish remover, and applied the correct ones. Detailed the wheels and interior.
