No agreement could be reached between the 2 parties as to how AT &T could be added to jeff burtons car. AT & T today took Nascar to court over it's restricting sponsorship rules. i guess today. i just heard it on espn. More confusion in nascar. But, it was ok for harvick.

how was it ok for harvick? im guessing you're taking a cut at how Shell found the loop hole and still got on as a sponsor. it would be the same thing if AT&t all of a sudden decided to "bottle water". they could get in through a loop hole in the system because they wouldnt be promoting their phone service as they would be promoting their bottled water. personally i think it sucks that anybody can come in and corner the market in nascar when everyone should get a chance to sponsor who they want. but as business goes this is how they got to do it. find a loop hole and get in there.

if there is a loop hole, AT & T would've used it. i believe this court action is against nascar and it's forever changing policies. AT & T wants bigger things, and fair rules enforced for all possibly? hope AT&T wins.

Why couldn't AT&T just push the internet side, since Nextel is a Cell Phone Company. That is the way Shell got through the Sunoco Deal, by promoting the Lubricants side of there business!!
