Yes it is real and not a custom. Here is Lionel's specs on it. Their pictures in the garage are not always accurate, but this is the one. It is a QVC Chrome edition. Very nice add regardless!

jim43fan I saw that picture but I thought it was this one. Maybe the one in there above picture is the chrome and this one is the color chrome? P.S. I need this one too if anyone has one they want to sell.

You are correct. The picture you posted is the Color Chrome. The one you bought is just the Chrome edition. Frankly both pieces look pretty sweet! I would love both myself! ;-)

It's got a DIN # since it's a 2007. Sign up on LionelGarage.com if you haven't yet and register it. Then you can get all the specifics. Looks good by the way.
