you beat me to it, but seriously though, if you dont have either some sort of antivirus software, ie mcafee, i recommend rougescanfix program it cleans out your registry of all the 'junk' you may pickup when surfing the web and usually solves most of my problems.

It's because of your Desktop Wallpaper. Currently it appears to be set to "DA" or "POS". If you'll change it back to your original wallpaper or some sort of Windows standard wallpaper, it should go back to normal. Right now your computer probably isn't functioning correctly due to some high speed estrogen levels coursing through your motherboard and probably too high of a folicle level in your processor. Try it and see.
