Even though I'm not dealing in die-cast any longer, I always check the die-cast section when I visit a store. I saw the new 2007 WC 1:64 Schedule Hood Series at Wal-Mart here the other day. I really liked the new packaging. I'm just curious if all of you die hard collectors here on the Lounge like it or not?

i personally like the new packages. it protects the card better. you dont have to worry about the cashier throwing it in a bag and getting bent. but thats why i still usually go through the self checkout. it is going to make it very difficult for the custom guys to work with so that is a negative.

Can somebody post a picture of one? I dont even know what they look like. Im curious

nevermind, sorry, I looked through a few more posts and found some. Look good to me, but now there goes the task of finding a mint one, they should all be mint now, so probably less "collectiblity", and will be able to store dust longer in the stores. Good for the people that just want the cars to have em, bad for the people that want them to actually be worth anything after they buy them. I kind of like it, now I will be able to buy a car if I see it, and not have to leave all frustrated because the package is bent 50 different ways. Thats my take on em I guess.
