Has anyone seen confirmation from Lionel that they are redoing their tooling to actually look like the new cars and not just recreating the new paint schemes on the old tooling? All of the renderings I have seen for preorders sure look like old tooling. Thanks

Lionel had it on their Facebook page showing the new cars, including the under-wing. They also said they were going to up-date the truck molds.

There won't be much of a problem changing the tooling for the 1/64 cars...................they do need new tooling for the 1/24 cars if they are going to do it right because of all the chassis and interior and engine bay detail..
