Did anyone else watch the Dale earnhardt Jr. announcement live?? Our Purdue (MIKE NEFF) was one of the media there and got to ask the #8 and the budwieser crew coming with Dale Jr. to Hendricks! That was pretty cool since I've know mike from not only here on this site but also on WcCollector. Way to go Mike!!!! :congrats: :thumbup: :congrats: :thumbup: :congrats: :thumbup:

I saw the one when he let everyone know he was leaving DEI and was looking for Mike to ask a question, but I didn't get to see this one, what was the answer?

The best thing Jr. could do is to make a completely fresh start with a new team and crew chief, sponsorship doesn't matter really.

The answer was it is still to early to know all the details yet. Rick and Dale will be talking to Teresa to see what can be negotiated as far as the sponsorship and the #8. As for the crew they really didn't give any direct answers out. Just that all the details will unfold as the talks continue. Seems to be from what I could gather was the only thing of any certainty is that Jr. will be driving a car for HMS. They still couldn't give anything out as to weather he will be using Kyles eguip. or moving Mears around or anything. Guess it's all a waiting game for here. Maybe he's going to run 6.7 for the first part of the season until they can get everything figured out!!! :rofl:
