I just received this Racing Champions 1/24 promo Dodge Intrepid #53 Modern Office Methods car. I contacted the company by email, an am awaiting background information in reply. They did remember the model from the early 2000's, but wanted some time to research the details of when / why / to whom these cars were issued. There are some small flaws on the model, but it is the only one I have seen to date.

I need to add more hooks up on the wall!

I tried to do some research on this car awhile back to see if it ever actually ran. The driver technically would've been Glenn Allen Jr during the 2003 ASA series.

However all of those are on a Chevy or Pontiac. And when I sifted through old ASA footage I couldn't find race footage for 3 of them, and the others I could find he was in a white car.

In 2004 in 1 ASA start he did drive a dodge, but the car was white with # on the quarter panel. My guess is this might've been a sponsor deal for 2004 that may have fell through.

I'm going to reserve judgement, but I did notice that the company was founded in 1953, which would have made 2003 its 50th anniversary. It is still TBD as to whether #53 just refers to the company's founding year, an actual race car, or maybe both.
