I was looking at some CFS Contender cars, and was again reminded at how the detail in cars is slipping. The Contender Series was CFS's counter part to Lionel's Gold Series and Team Caliber's Pit Stop Series.
Noting that the Contender cars then, had more detail then Lionel's Gold Series have/had, then and now. It's a sad state of affairs......

Very happy with both series of CFS cars. I have been collecting many cars and trucks from them lately

I miss CFS. They were my favorite second to Team Caliber. I especially love when they made cars for teams that Action didn't.

I too miss CFS in general. I loved CFS and I loved how they made cars that Lionel didn't make. The last ever produced Jeremy Mayfield car (his 70 HAAS car from 2008) was made by CFS. I have and love that car. I have a few other CFS cars too and I love them all.

I only own two CFS and I am really impressed with the pieces.
