I'm doing this Stephen Colbert style lol:

A tip of the hat to Carl Edwards on winning the race.

But a big wag of the finger to ABC (ESPN on ABC or whatever the hell it is) for going off the air early and not showing Carl's traemark flip.

ABC is going to get a lot of angry emails tonight, they're going to get a lesson like NBC did back in 03 at Charlotte when they decided to go to Saturday Night Live instead of interviewing Smoke.

Blame NASCAR, not ABC. The race was scheduled to end at 6 p.m. and it ended just after.

The cautions were ridiculously long in that race. You had 15-20 lap caution periods, plus a red flag, plus a pitroad/caution snafu. Eliminate all that, and there probably wouldn't have been a problem.

Ward had a decent run going, but I guess his car wouldn't start after the red flag and lost 16 laps. You only knew that if you listened to the radio. ABC/ESPN SUCKS! If you're last name isn't Wallace, you don't matter.

Great run for Edwards. He certainly earned that win. Also good runs for Kenseth and Kyle Busch. Ninth for Wimmer. Didn't have the kind of day I thought he would, but he still got a top 10.

The race, overall, sucked. Cautions were too long. Bristol's a pretty good self cleaning track, come on! lol. Coverage was subpar. If they kept the cautions low, the race would've been a lot better.

I read about it on nascar.com. Sounds like a pretty shitty race if you ask me. 12 cautions for 103 laps in a 300 lap race. That's 1/3rd of the race under caution. I'm not even sure if I'm going to watch the Cup race tomorrow. I cant get into these wreckfests that see about 10 laps of green runs till a caution. Congrats to Edwards on the win though.

Why is it NASCAR's fault, they don't make the programing schedule they don't dertmine when the world news comes on, thats ABC's job.

And Wallace isn't better either. He couldn't make a call home, let alone call a race.

Ofcouse it is. If you took out all the stupid crap they did during the race (the ridiculously long cautions, the red flag, and the pitroad/green/red fiasco) they would've been fine for time. ABC SHOULD have bumped their programming for a few minutes, and probably will next time. But NASCAR did a piss-poor job running their own race.

Yeah, I mean they have a free hour at 7 eastern and the olny thing they were showing last night was Coyote Ugly, no big loss there.
