I am aware with all of the quality failures and imperfections, and personally I am one to overlook a lot of things with my "toy cars". However this is the first time that I decided to order from RCCA since their BS warehouse door # and din #1 sale that every paying member who ordered the car's missed out on 2 years ago.

I purchased two different car's one being the 2014 Skittles Liquid color and the other was the 2014 Skittles Raw finish. I got the RAW finish alright... I still can't figure out why I purchased two car's and they came in two different shipments? One had the foam around it like all the elite's used to, and the other had just a plastic "air bag" put in a box with the car. It gets better! I open the Raw finish to find that the tape had already been cut and was opened, I thought that was odd enough. Sure as shit it was opened for a reason because it appears that the front window was out of the car and someone tried to glue the window back in and fogged the window up. Once the window didn't come out like new, it was sent back to RCCA and you guessed it, Sold to me! If you look close at the one picture you can see the finger prints on the windshield. Shameful...

Well thankfully I didn't get the "I'm sorry Mr. Dewey that car is out of stock would you like a different car" talk. I said I would return it for another one that hasn't been tampered with. After this I think it may be another 2 year's...lol

The Customer Service reps are usually okay to work with; the warehouse on the other hand seems to be questionable. I wonder if they even check the returns or just throw them back into the pile for redistribution. The turn around times for returns are always long-- I see complaints about that time and time again on the RCCA forum. There is some kind of disconnect there that they haven't quite got a handle on yet.

Not that I was looking for a handout or a credit on my account, which I got nothing. I can't remember if she even apologized for the piss poor car they sent me!

It's probably the only one they have left lol

Actually I once ordered an Elite from RCCA and they sent me one that was a return like Peter's so they had one more left that was unopen so they said they would hold it for me, and they sold it in the warehouse sale and sent me back the same car and denied that they did it even though I knew what the din number was and could easily recognize it by the flaws. I ended up returning the car and never was able to replace it since and have only seen one on ebay since.

That is a disaster. I can't believe they had the nerve to send you a car like that.

I wish it was $90. It was $124.95 plus $8.50 shipping

I don't even have the words...

How hard would it have been to simply discount the piece and simply provide an alternate box and an ininstalled windshield? ARE YOU LISTENING RCCA?
