Not sure just yet what I am going to do but I stripped my first one today. I have done plastic models all my life and thought it was time to move up one notch and try a Custom Diecast. Here is some pics of what I started with. I will keep the pictures updated on my progress. I have talked to both Melloyello20 and Joker20 about the process. So if all goes well I owe them alot of credit for helping me out. Thanks guys for the help you have give me allready. Also looking for a good place to get 1/24th decals. So here goes nothing. If I screw up then oh well can't say I didn't try.

I went to Wal-Mart and got some Stripper in a spray can. It is in a Orange Can. I will take a pic of it tomorrow so you can see it. It worked great.
Yea it worked great DP. When I had my attempts at customs, the way I stripped it was rub the whole car down with sandpaper, giving it scratches. After that I could easily spray over the old paint and get the car a whole new color. Looking good, can't wait to find out what your making it into, and then see pictures when you finish it! :)

Looking pretty good there DP!! I like the idea that your are making a custom of your sims car. That's somewhat original yet it will give you a great deal of satisfaction when it is complete! Looking forward to seeing it progress thru to the end.

Will make sure I post all the pics of the progress. Still like alot before it is fininshed to my standards but it's getting there. I am also working on a Custom 2006 Challenger with some Mayfield Decals on it. Will make sure to post those pics as well when I get done.
