If you were in the stands for the Daytona 500 two weeks ago, you probably should have been saying “cheese!”
For the fourth time, a series of shots of Daytona International Speedway during the Daytona 500 were taken and stitched together to create an (click here) interactive panoramic shot that shows the beginning of the 58th running of the race.
The fancam (click here) has also been used in 2015, 2014 and 2011.
Fans can zoom into where they were sitting at the moment the picture was taken and tag themselves via Facebook, Twitter and email.
The technology was also used during the pre-race (click here) concert with Florida Georgia Line.
Also part of the experience is a scavenger hunt. Hidden within the photo is a panorama picture and a shot of the Harley J. Earl Daytona 500 trophy. Once both are located, guests will be entered to win a panorama photo of the new Daytona International Speedway as well as two tickets for the 59th annual Daytona 500.

This is pretty wild. I went last year to the Daytona 500 and just found me and Jerry team3and8 in the 2015 fancam.

Anyone that went to the Daytona 500 in 2011,2014,2015 and 2016 should be able to find themselves.

Where were you sitting at? We were on the first level up, even with the flagman , about 20 seats down to the right.

That's insane! I was playing around with it earlier and found Jeff Gordon and Darrell Waltrip up in the booth. lol
