The owner of the local funeral home is a regular at the Casey's I work at, and last night, he came in and his Christmas present for me and my co-worker who was there was to give us each $50 to spend on ourselves. So I figured I'd go to the little shop a block away from my house that has some diecast and pick up a couple things. As you can see below, I picked up more than a couple things. First, I picked up my first Indycar,

1995 Gil de Ferran Indycar from his rookie season, and since it's in road course trim, I'll call it his '95 Laguna Seca Win (Payed less than the price on the sticker bc of the amount of stuff I bought)

then I picked up some RC Premier 1/64s that are the original releases of the upcoming NASCAR Classics that I have on preorder,

Darrell Waltrip 1992 Southern 500 Win - #2480 out of 40000

Mark Martin 1993 Four in a Row - #2394 out of 10000

and then I got a bunch of Richard Petty Racing Champions from 1999.

#4364 out of 19043

#7869 out of 19043

#15761 out of 19043

#9295 out of 19043

#343 out of 19043

#2445 out of 19043

#7178 out of 19043

Not a bad haul for today.

Also, anybody know how to cleanly/mostly cleanly get the RC Pettys out of their packaging? Wanna take them out so I can have more room to display other cars, but I don't want to ruin the packaging.
