Stewart is the biggest dick the media. I've heard and seen too many times when he's a complete jerk to media members, even pushing and slapping at them. Completely unprofessional.

I must say, though, that the only time I interviewed him, he was very nice and cordial. I wonder if he's actually bipolar or something. Seems like one minute he's fine, next he'll go off.

It is known that he does not like ESPN at all. Are the TV stations not using the 24 second delays anymore to make sure they can bleep the word out? It had nothing to do with racing so he should not be docked drivers points & just fine him money.

i dont condone it, but at the same time if they use a delay why not use it when they know anything might come out of his mouth. they know he doesnt like ESPN as he has stated before to them. so is it that they are setting him up to get docked by not using the delay?

During the rain delay on MRN, they stated that it looked like NASCAR said that nothing would happen for it.
I don't really care, just wish they would be consistant. I guess that it is consistant, cause they didn't do anything to Kyle when he swore did they? Guess there is no complaint.

from Jayski:

UPDATE: Tony Stewart will not be penalized for uttering an obscenity Saturday morning during the ESPN2 telecast of the Nextel Cup practice session, NASCAR officials confirmed Sunday at Kansas Speedway. "It's unfortunate, but there's a lot of other noise when you see the tape," said Jim Hunter, NASCAR's vice president of corporate communications. "If you run it over and over, you get it. But if our viewers and ESPN's viewers are sitting at home watching it, there's a chance they might not have heard that." Hunter said the decision not to penalize Stewart is in line with similar decisions when drivers said an obscenity outside a formal interview session.(ESPN.com)(9-30-2007)
