how do most people trade on this site, sell value, book value, personal value.....ive traded sports cards before and everyone was different, just wondering if there is a general standard for this site, thanks

It's really between the 2 doing the trade, what they want and are wiling to offer in exchange. If you want to trade a bar of gold for a toothpick, that's entirely up to you. And we strongly encourage that parties user the Transaction Manager for all trades and sales so you have a record if something goes wrong with your deal.

Happy trading.

I've received some amazing deals on this site - some fair deals on this site and some deals have fallen thru because some simply overvalue what they have. Like the above post states - depends on who you deal with. One thing I have noticed is: some members who post threads because they got such a great deal on ebay or whatever and they just have to brag -are often the hardest to deal with.

Just try to work out a price or a trade that both can agree too. We're all here to help other collectors like ourselves. You could start a "Want list" if you have pieces you're looking for. As Michiana said, a "Transaction Agreement" is a must. Even for the slightest deals. Good luck with your trading.
