Has anybody here ever picked up the matted pics that they offer at the USPS, that are cancelled like stamps? I was there today, but was in a hurry and there was no one at the window to ask how much they were. They had a really neat one of Harvick beating Martin by a nose this year at Daytona. I thought I may get it if anybody knew anything about them and if they end up being worth anything. It doesn't really matter if it's not worth anything, but that helps me guage how much I am willing to spend. TIA!

The whole thing is polly 12" by 24", it is an 8"x10" matted, and an envelope size pic below the 8"x10" also matted. The mat is one piece w/a cutout for the pics.....the envelope size pic is cancelled like a piece of mail, or it at least looks like it is. They had the one I mentioned, and a Johnson one and a Kenseth one and a Stewart one. the Harvick, Stewart and Johnson were Daytona wins. The Kenseth was just a pic I think, or a win. I didn't look real close at it.

At the two post offices I go to regularly, they have a bunch of Jr., Gordon and Johnson Daytona Victory Pictorals. I have not checked into them because I have a Race Used tire piece from the Jr. Victory. They are Nice, but I'm not sure on the price and if they will increase!!

They are kinda neat. I've seen them before, but never really paid much attention until I saw the Harvick/Martin one. It is a really great pic. All ya need is a frame.

My mom brought me the Dale Jr. Daytona 500 win one some time back...very cool piece. I would like to get more, but I don't have the space and I'd rather spend the money on diecast.

I was at the PO today, and I checked on the cancelled pics. They DO have an actual cancelled stamp and postmark on them w/the date of the event of the pics, and they are $19.99 and no tax, even here in Pa.
