I ran across a die-cast I would really like to bid on on eBay. I do not have any autos in my die-cast collection and would really like to add one. Could someone take a look at this listing and tell me if this looks like an authentic auto from Dale Jr.? Second, is anyone on here currently bidding on the car? I don't want to bid against DCZ members if I know one of you are already bidding on the listing. Thank you for your time and insight.

I believe so. Im not the greatest but is looks very similar to the 3 I have. It does look like a sit down Auto. He usually will sign his entire first name completely. If he is in a hurry he usually will sign just the first 2 letters and then drag it out. Good luck on your bid

I am not too convinced that that autograph is real. Compare it to other Jr autographs on Ebay, and you will see a difference. Granted, Jr does have a different signature depending on whether he signed it at a sitdown autograph session or as he is walking through the garage.

Also, that Certificate of Authenticity isnt for the autograph. Thats something that QVC threw in with all of their special finish cars back in the day.

Then again, if it goes for the ballpark price it is sitting at now, I would buy it anyways. Worst case scenario, the autograph is fake, and you wipe it and have a nice car for a decent price...

The car should sell itself. It's a nice finish. Worst thing that could possibly happen is the signature being fake. Im no expert to that but like another member said, it can be wiped clean.
