Yeah so I was looking around for Mayfields diecast for preorder. The only place I could find was on The Sunday Hauler but the dont have any MA diecast listed. Just some by CFS Motorsports or something. Ill put a link at the bottom. Is this a part of MA or something totally different? Is MA not making Jeremy's cars this year?

The Sunday Hauler has the Martin Army car up for preorder in the MA and CFS Forms. I hope MA decides to do Mayfields cars. I dont see how they can decide to do Blaney's but not Mayfields.

I was also wondering what that was for. I saw the CFS Contender series or something like that for the Robby Jim Beam car. Is that suppose to be like the Pit Stop Series or something?

CONTENDER SERIES: THE CONTENDER SERIES CARS ARE GREAT CARS FOR THE PRICE. ONLY THE HOOD OPENS ON THIS CAR. PACKAGING FOR THIS CAR IS MUCH LIKE THE WINNERS CIRCLE CARS YOU SEE AT YOUR DISCOUNT STORES.
PRODUCTION RUN: TB

Thats the description from The Sunday Hauler.

The OTHER INTERESTING thing she said is, they plan on making gerneric/blanks of each car (Ford, Chev, Dodge and Yoter) which I am assuming will be an attemept to target the custom builders to supply them with cars they don't need to strip. Apparently these "blanks" will cost just as much as a fully graphic'ed car.

Again...I don't know how solid it is.

That is very interesting. I think I had mentioned it to some of the people here if they would be intereseted in buying striped and primed diecast kits.

yeah, kind of sounds interesting. What the heck, even if it is the same price, the point made by SB earlier, I am going to pay that much no matter what, LESS the cost, time, and mess of stripping off thier work to boot. They COULD sell it a little cheaper since they are saving on decals etc or tampo I guess, but heck, why pass the savings on to us haa haa. ONLY disappointment so far is the lack of dodge drivers, makes it more difficult for test cars, COT customs for me.

There is no way we'll see Robby's Jim Beam car in 1/64. Besides the custom I'm already planning, that is is. (I just did the Chevy a few months ago...)

BTW, Team Caliber's Dodge Charger was the most hideous thing they ever tried to pawn off as a diecast. It was just a brick with wheels. If they never use that body again, I will be more then happy.

GREAT!!!! At least somebody to compete with MA. that will at least put MA in a position of having to be on there toes for marketing since they will no longer have the monopoly on diecast and maybe CFS will help keep the $$ a little more in check?? guess we will have to wait and see on that one.
