1992 Ricky Rudd Tide promo 1:64. My mom got it in a box of Tide detergent. I don't have it anymore, but, it was my first diecast car.

there aren't mine, just pics for reference. i got these 2 cars at the same time back in 1981 or 82. somewhere around there. i guarantee my beat up originals are still up at my parents house somewhere.

Although I had been collecting hotwheels for many years my first NASCAR was the original Lake Speed Quality Care RCCA 1/24th. I can't remember what year it was but I got it shortly after it was released (possibly 90-91??) Lake Speed and My brother went to high school together and Lake's Brother Joe owned a motorcyle shop next door to where I started my first job when I was 15. I followed Lake until his retirment and the rest is history. Still have all my Lake Speed cars.

My first diecast was Danica Patrick's 2005 #16 Indycar. My first NASCAR diecast was Danica's 2010 ARCA car.

My first NASCAR diecast was a 1:18 2006 Hall of Fame Dale Sr. diecast. Bought it last June.

A 1/64 Racing Champions 2001 # 36 Ken Schrader M&M's car. But when I lived in Europe I guess it was a Tyrrell P34 formula 1 car (The famous six wheeler).

2010 1/64 Kyle Busch M&M's car.

I knew what nascar was (since 90's) but was never interested.. Then I came across this car in the M&M's store in New York. I thought it was a cool souvenir so I bought it. It was the last piece they had too.

I became curious about the car so I researched the driver/scheme.. I found it interesting so decided to watch a race on tv.. Got hooked since.

The first diecast I bought was at my first race. I picked up the 2007 Jeff Gordon Dupont COT.

A Racing Champions #10 Derrike Cope Car. I remember that it met an untimely death due to a rock and metal fatigue.

I also remember buying some of those 3-packs of 1/43 Action cars in Lakeside, OH around 1999. I still have the Bass Pro Shops #3, but all the others are gone.
