Typos on cars are quite common. I am not sure if he is saying that he has the only one w/427 on it, but I have seen typos on cars alot. I have a Blaney Jasper car that says Jasper Enginges on the trunk lid. They were all like that. Usually just a goof and does not make much difference. There was a Jr. car that had Remington on the trunk that wasn't supposed to, and they corrected it and released the rest w/o it on there. For awhile they were a hot piece, but later, it seems it didn't make any difference.

Jim, at the start of 1969 ALL the Fords had 427s. I don't think that the 429 was legal until Atlanta. That car is accurate for early season.
