I have a 65 inch wide screen, so the stuff at the bottom did not make that big a difference to me (4:3 views probably liked that better, but the fact that they stayed with the race during non local commercials was enough for the thumbs up for me. :congrats:

LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!! Got to see the race for once!

I love how people are complaining how there was no audio during the animated ads, and they would be the same people complaining that they didnt see what was going on during the race during a normal commercial break. People a re DUUU-UUUU-UUU-MB

we have a 57 inch dlp hd and it sure was nice to see the cars instead of the stupid logos everywhere.i wish they covered all the races like that!

i hear that, 51 inch Rear Projection with the 4:3 Enhanced. I just got the new tv this week and was great to be able to give its first test run with daytona, especially with the finish.

It was ok I think. I just wish they didn't show the same ads in the corner every time and every 5 minutes mention "We would like to thank Pepsi and Subway and whoever else" it got kinda old.

i liked it. It's not perfect, but at least they're trying. I just hope this isn't just a one-race thing. I want to see it this EVERY race. I hope ESPN does something like their IRL coverage. One could only hope.

i doubt they will tater. tnt said they were only doing it for the pepsi 400 and espn doesn't do it for their busch races so i doubt they will do it for their cup races.

and i agree with selby92 that it was annoying to hear that but it beats it being in a commercial 90 times and missing all the good racing that went on

Id prefer that anyday over seeing the same commercials in rotation, and not seeing the race at all for 4 minutes at a time.

TNT said that if the results from Saturday night were good enough they do it through all of their series next year. As for Side-by-side on ESPN they have already said that thier not going to do it, because apparently sponsors will shit bricks over a NASCAR race and could give a care less about a dinky Indycar race.
