nice to see him get the #29 on pole but at the end of the day its wins that count know body remembers 2nd places (except his fans ) if he wants that 4th cup seat hes got to show hes on a par with harvick, burton and bowyer in the busch series never mind the cup and his lack of wins shows hes not

Yeah well, even if he doesn't end up in the Cup ride next year, I think I'd rather him run full time Busch and take a shot at the Championship.

trouble is if you look at the owner points the #29 team is only 186 Pt's back of the #60 Scott is 1360 Pt's away from carl true hes missed 7 races and has driven the #21 too but both cars have been to victory line this year but if you look at harvick hes only ran one more race and is 489 Pt's ahead of wimmer who driven RCR equipment in his 14 races while Kevin's been in his own teams gear and no offence to KHI there not at RCRs level yet
and weather you like it or not the bushwackers (of which wimmer has been ) are the benchmark on which the busch drivers have to rise to if there to succeed both in this series and in the cup

but i think trevor has the right idea for scotts future a full season in busch next year with RCR the championship is what he should be looking for if not a top 5 then a return to cup racing in 09
