Jeff Gordon's rainbow car i think

my fist diecast that got me into collecting was a dale earnhardt jr 1 24 acdelco superman car,i got it at a local auction for i think $20. little did i know what i was gettin into lol! over 10 years later and over 300 cars later here i am!!

My grandfather used to buy me Dale Earnhardt and provided me with my first die casts. My first 1:64 was a 1995 Action Earnhardt Silver Select, and for Christmas in 1996 he gave me my first 1:24's: A Revell Earnhardt standard scheme, and a Revell 1996 Olympic Special.

Racing Champions- Scott Kalitta Kalitta Air '96 top fuel.
Action- Don Prudhomme Skoal '95 top fuel.
I was up in the air about getting the Kalitta car because they also had a Blaine Johnson car that I wanted but finally chose Kalitta.

I had a few opened cars when I was younger but my first 'collectible' that I kept in the packaging was a Winners Circle Jeff Gordon 2002 DuPont 200th Anniversary 1/64. And I do still have it.

My first car was a Dale Jr 2007 Stars and Stripes 1:24 that my wife bought for me. Little did she know what she was getting me into. Lol

My first Nascar collectable was a Kelloggs promo Terry Labonte hauler I got for six box tops, I started collecting Terry Labonte cars. From there it was Tony Stewart, Harvick, Newman and so on.

dale jr 2001 all star car raced at daytona

I think it was the old '96 Jeff Gordon rainbow DuPont car

I had a mid 90s #4 Kodak car among my hotwheels that I played with as a toddler. I had no idea it was a "NASCAR". I was just another car to me. When I got older, my dad gave me a Michael Waltrip 2001 Daytona 500 1/64 and that along with a NASCAR computer game and that began my NASCAR passion.

My first diecast was Danica Patrick's 2005 Indycar (rookie year). My first NASCAR diecast was Danica's ARCA car.

Richard Petty Farewell STP Pontiac 1992 by Racing Champions, yes it is in the basement somewhere, I moved a bunch of stuff out of my late grandparents house and that was in there.

The first car I got was Harvick's C2 car run at Daytona. I was going to the race and wanted the car from it. I still have it to this day, and even though it's not worth the $60 I paid for it, but it's one of my favorites.

It's been over 10 years now, so I could be wrong... but I believe this was my first diecast. I didn't like Jeff Gordon, but I was (and still am) in love with Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the entire Peanuts gang. Because my dad knew that I liked NASCAR and Peanuts, I was given this car. It started the madness...

I'd say my first real "collectable" car would be Dale Jr's 2008 Amp Energy Gold Series 1:24. The splitter broke off, I was about 9 when I got it.

a 1995 Racing Champions 1/64 Rusty Wallace
wound up getting it signed, years later.
Cool now that he is going to the H.O.F.
