Thanks for sharing the pictures and details of these! 1992 was my favorite year to collect because Racing Champions produced so many of the cars that year! I appreciate that you are breaking it up by the packaging.

I did have a random question though: Do you or anyone know why the Petty back has the 1991 year in the trademark (on the bottom of the back packaging) but is still considered the 1992 edition? I just assumed that it may have taken time to switch over, but I was curious if there was any other reasoning.

I really like the Chevy packaging with the black blisters from 1992 and I am trying to collect as many of those as I can find. I enjoy all of your posts and I am looking forward to seeing more! Thanks for all of the time that you put into these posts!

I don't know specifically in this case but I know copyright notifications aren't required to have the year. When the year is there you usually include the earliest year for the text and design to let others know you were the first to come up with it. I'm guessing they didn't change the year because they didn't change any of the text or design they were copyrighting until they switched to the different packages part way through the year.

I have this car with the actual miller high life sponsor. Do you know of its origins?
Just posted more info on the other thread.
